You may or may not be a big fan of golf but chances are youâve heard the name Jordan Spieth. Heâs a pro golfer who has made quite a name for himself
Spieth was born in Dallas Texas in the year of 1993, to Shawn Spieth and Mary Christine Spieth. He attended St. Monica Catholic School and graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School in 2011. He first learned to play golf at Brookhaven Country Club. On January 2, 2018, Spieth confirmed his engagement to his long-time girlfriend, Annie Verret. The two were married in November of 2018 in Dallas Texas. Spieth is a devout Catholic who regularly attends the PGA Bible Study.
After earning a spot on the 2013 Presidents Cup team, Spieth began to plan the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation. Spieth's younger sister Ellie was part of the inspiration, and through his work, the Foundation provides awareness and financial assistance to community organizations within four philanthropic pillars, special needs children, military families, junior golf and pediatric cancer.
Now, letâs talk hair. For some time now, many of the pro golferâs fans ponder the same question, did the Texan pro Golfer have a Hair Transplant? With a net worth of approximately $100 million, it isnât like he couldnât afford it. There's no doubt that the guy is losing hair to Male Pattern Baldness. The condition usually seems to affect men that are in their 30s and 40s. But men can be affected anytime after puberty with hair loss, even as young as in their 20's such as Logan Paul. If a man is going to experience male pattern baldness, it is pretty common for it to start in their 20s, Prince William is definitely one of the most famous examples.
But maybe the golfer's fans have their theories about Spieth all wrong. Many seem to be wondering if he had a hair transplant or perhaps âplugsâ as they most often called, itâs an old-fashioned reference that could also be used to refer to the more modern, and more refined âFollicular Unit Extraction â (FUE) itâs a technique in which donor hair from the patientâs head is removed follicle by follicle and then it is re-plugged into the scalp to the desired location where it is needed. This is the method believed to have been used on fellow sportsman Wayne Rooney during his famous hair transplant surgeries.
To the trained eye however and judging completely from available photographs, it doesnât seem to be the case. Spiethâs receding hairline has definitely filled out, and there is a noticeable increase in hair growth at his temples, and seems to have been improving over the last few years years. In 2014, when he was at the age of 21 he was pictured winning the Masters with thinning hair that was way more noticeable than it was in 2015 when he won his first major. Now he looks to have at least halted his shedding and possibly added a little extra fullness too.
When most people have a hair transplant, there is a much more dramatic change in their appearance. Usually the transplanted area is visibly red and inflamed for an extended period of time and in most cases it will have also been shaved. But usually the new hair will be quite noticeable because the new hair is thin at first, it can take several months for the new hair to become established and start growing properly.
This doesnât seem to be what happened with Spieth, his follicles seems to have appeared more gradually and without paparazzi catching any of the âtell-taleâ images post-op. Thatâs surely rare these days. Yes he does seem to love wearing his cap a lot of the time, so that could have kept the visual evidence of such a procedure hidden.
Spieth is definitely not the only pro golfer to have issues with hair loss. Everyone from Matt Kuchar, Jim Furyk and of course Tiger Woods have all shown signs of Male Pattern Baldness.
Also people should know that wearing tight head gear such as any kind of hat all of the time can actually cause hair loss called Alopecia due to the lack of blood circulation to the hair follicles thus causing hair loss. Please know hats are ok to wear to cover hair loss just make sure it's not too tight where it can cause Alopecia hair thinning.
Hair loss could also be caused due to simple genetics. Stress can also be a factor too. Stress can speed up the onset of Male Pattern Baldness or worsen the condition. If you are already showing classic signs such as a receding hairline or thinning crown on the top of your head. Gradual hair loss to male pattern baldness is simply inevitable if you are genetically predisposed but can still be helped.
